there was a night this summer when I was sitting in my aunt’s apartment in Moscow, it was almost 4 in the morning, I was having green tea and the only light I had was a dim lamp behind my back. and I swear, the moment was so good. and I was browsing the internet, trying to find something to catch my mind. and I clearly remember that I was listening to Magic Mountain and everything seemed so light and clear. and I found this photographer by the name of Ashley Oostdyck. I don’t remember where I found her -but it also doesn’t matter. and her photos made me feel even lighter. maybe because it reminded me of when I was around 7, when we lived in California and used to visit Sea World. And they had those seals, so big and marvelous.
And I remember how my mom bought me a stuffed seal and how it didn’t leave my sight for more than two months.
